Dave Matthews Band @ Wembley Arena

Just returned from seeing DMB at Wembley. Ears still ringing from the fantastic jamming. Always amused by Dave Matthews and amazed by Boyd Tinsley’s talent. That’s it for shows – no plans to see more NW bands in London

Beautiful Praha

Just a few words about Prague. Stay at the Hotel Josef – it’s centrally located in the Jewish Quarter, with Old Town Square just a short walk away. We were surprised with a bottle of wine upon checking in to our clean, modern and stylish top floor room. And it has [...]

Eat and Two Veg

Since we will be heading back to Seattle in July, we are frantically trying to hit all the restaurants on our list before we have to leave. Eat and Two Veg was ticked off today.

Little steamed parcels of deliciousness

Today we lunched at Ping Pong – a restaurant that we have wanted to try for quite some time. It had been recommended to us by a friend, it’s close to the flat and we love their motto (see post title). We were not disappointed with our lunch.

Seven Sisters Walk

It’s a bank holiday weekend and, instead of travelling out of the UK, we decided to explore locally. I had heard about an interesting walk on the coast so we hopped on a Southern train and headed to Seaford to walk the Seven Sisters.
